Centre for Innovation & Incubation has been set-up at Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa under the provisions laid down in Babu Dinesh Singh University Act, 2022 (Jharkhand Act-06, 2023) under section 13(5) within the larger vision of the University. This Centre’s role is to engage faculty, students and staff to create an ecosystem of innovation within the university from various disciplines of Pharmacy, Medical and Dental Sciences, Engineering, Technology and other fields. The university supports various research activities and skill based projects by providing research assistance consultancy, knowledge, mentorship support to students, latest technologies and infrastructure.           

The mission of this centre is to support students and faculty members for converting their innovative ideas into start-up with faculty members from each department to co-ordinate the innovation and start-up activities.

Centre’s objective is to translate theoretical and conceptual learning into socially useful practice and to reach out to the less-privileged section of society at the bottom of the pyramid who may not otherwise have access to new knowledge and contemporary practices. This Centre has been established to encourage graduates to become wealth creators with employment generation, while addressing the many social problems facing our country as a whole. The centre will facilitate technical mentorship and will help to generate financial support from angel investors and venture capital funding to nurture potentially viable ideas to be set up as sustainable enterprises in the social sector.

In exercise of the power vested in him under the provisions laid down in Babu Dinesh Singh University Act, 2022 (Jharkhand Act- 06, 2023), under section 13(5), the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa, Jharkhand is pleased to constitute Innovation Cell of Babu Dinesh Singh, University, Garhwa, Jharkhand.
