Babu Dinesh Singh University has came into existence on 17th Feb, 2023 after notification of Government of Jharkhand it’s in Jharkhand Gazette Vide No: 94 Ranchi passed by Jharkhand Assembly and assented by Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand State on 14. 02. 2023 in the name of Babu Dinesh Singh University Act-2022 (Jharkhand Act No.-06, 2023).

Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa located on NH-75 with the Green Campus spread over more than 100 acres of land with excellent Infrastructure, Many Colleges such as Vananchal Dental College & Hospital, Vananchal College of Nursing, Vananchal School of Nursing, Devki Mahaveer Homeopathy Medical College & Research Hospital, Dinesh College of Education, Vananchal College of Science, Department of Pharmacy are running from the last sixteen years under Vananchal Educational Welfare & Trust(Sponsoring Body), most of the college & their program at UG and PG level which is accredited by NAAC.

All the programs of BDSU are professional, research driven, skill based and knowledge intensive. The university is a Centre of Academic, Innovative & Research in the field of Engineering., Management, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Education, Nursing, Homoeopathy, Dental Science as well as social science, natural science and humanities, where the students & faculties collaborate to learn, research, create, innovate, inspire & incubate new approach & Idea.…

Initially, just after the establishment of the University, the university started with B. Pharm, D. Pharm under the Department of Pharmacy for the session 2023-24 and from the session 2024-25, the university has started various programs such as Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering under the faculty of Engineering & Technology. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) under the faculty of Management Studies & Research. Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) under the faculty of Information Technology. Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences (BLIS) & Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) under the faculty of Applied Science.

BDSU endeavors to offer services across the student’s life cycle not only supported by best teaching and learning but also assist their career development, skill enhancement, employment opportunities, promotion in business, incubation and fund raising for development initiatives.
