Following the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the power of unity was evident in every step taken during the observance of National Unity Day at Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa. In compliance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university enthusiastically organized a series of activities including the Run for Unity, Integrity Pledge, and a Dialogue Competition on the university campus. The event witnessed active participation from university officials, faculty members, and a large number of students.On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. M.K. Singh, along with all officers and faculty members, collectively administered the oath of unity and integrity. In his inspiring address, the Vice-Chancellor fondly remembered the remarkable contribution of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, to national integration. He emphasized the pivotal role of youth in the process of nation-building and urged students to contribute to the unity, integrity, and progress of the nation with a healthy mind and a strong body.

The Registrar, Prof. Ajay Bhushan Prasad, coordinated the Run for Unity, where students displayed an admirable spirit of enthusiasm, discipline, and togetherness. Additionally, during the Dialogue Competition organized among the students of affiliated units, participants eloquently expressed their views on various aspects of national integrity. The best-performing student was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation.
The event aimed to instill and strengthen the spirit of national unity, integrity, and dedication among students while promoting the timeless ideals of Sardar Patel in society. The program concluded successfully in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, discipline, and dignity.
