The Department of Pharmacy under Vananchal College of Science of Babu Dinesh Singh University was established in the year 2023 with the objective of providing quality education, training, and research opportunities in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The department is committed to producing skilled pharmacy professionals who can contribute to healthcare, industry, and research with competence and ethical values.
The department offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) programs, as per the norms of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. All our courses are approved by the PCI, ensuring that the curriculum, infrastructure, and faculty qualifications meet the highest national standards.
Our laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments for Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy, providing students with hands-on experience and practical exposure. In addition, students undergo hospital training, industrial internships, and community pharmacy activities to strengthen their professional skills.
